YouTube Partner Program overview & eligibility Android YouTube Help

Once you qualify for the higher eligibility criteria for YPP, you will be eligible to receive a share of the revenue from ads served on your content. Channels will lose monetization when they violate any of the YouTube channel monetization policies. A channel needs to complete all the YPP signup steps (which currently include signing the contract and associating an AdSense for YouTube account) before they will be reviewed. For info about Shorts view eligibility with regards to how we calculate payments, see our YouTube Shorts monetization policies. If your first application wasn’t successful, don’t worry – you can appeal the decision within 21 days or keep uploading original content and you’ll be able to re-apply after a 30-day period. Sometimes channels require multiple reviews, especially when several reviewers disagree on your channel’s suitability for YPP.

Why does YouTube ask for my phone number?

  • We may terminate your channel or account for repeated violations of the Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.
  • You’ll get an email once you’ve met either of the below eligibility thresholds.
  • Learn more about steps you can take to strengthen your application for next time.
  • If your content violates this policy, we will remove the content and send you an email to let you know.

Keep in mind that any public watch hours from Shorts views in the Shorts Feed don’t count towards the 4,000 public watch hours threshold. If you have active Community Guidelines strikes on your channel, you can apply after your strikes expire. As the YouTube Partner Program continues to grow, it’s important to maintain a healthy, active ecosystem of channels.

What this policy means for you

It also allows revenue sharing from ads being served on your content. The YouTube Partner Program (YPP) gives creators greater access to YouTube resources and monetization features, and access to our Creator Support teams. If you’re not eligible yet, select Get notified in the Earn area of YouTube Studio. The expanded YouTube Partner Program is available to eligible creators in these countries/regions.

We may prevent repeat offenders from taking policy trainings in the future. If you violate a different policy after completing the training, you will get another warning. You will have the option to take a policy training to allow the warning to expire after 90 days. If this is your first time violating our Community Guidelines, you’ll likely get a warning with no penalty to your channel. Note that violative URLs posted within the video itself or in the video’s metadata may result in the video being removed. Here are some examples of content that’s not allowed on YouTube.

Stay active to keep making money

Posting pornography may result in content removal or channel termination. We also make sure the phone number is linked to no more than 2 channels per year. In this case, you are not yet eligible to receive a share of the revenue. According to our Terms of Service, YouTube retains the right to serve ads on all content on the platform.

The same applies to depictions of sex scenes in artistic content such as films, audio stories, music or video games. Remember these are just some examples, and don’t post content if you think it might violate this policy. This policy applies to videos, video descriptions, comments, live streams, audio, and any other YouTube product or bd-e2bet.com/ feature. If you’ve found a few videos or comments that you would like to report, you can report the channel. In some cases, we may make exceptions for content with educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic context, including content that is in the public’s interest.
